The STRATEGY of SPEAR International Ministries has three parts. Part One is to Find international ministry partners around the world who are: 1) Doctrinally sound.2) Missional in nature. (Their goal is the same as ours. That is to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of all nations, not simply to construct buildings or fund their current ministry.) 3) Willing to be mutually accountable with their partners. Part Two is to Form Strategic Partnership Teams (SPT) made up of groups of believers who are willing to commit a one year partnership with these international ministries. SPTs might be made up of members of a Sunday School class, a small group, or even a group of believers from different churches who are willing to work together for the sake of the Gospel. The plan is to establish multiple SPT for each international ministry partner. Some SPT members will visit their international ministry partners to physically participate in the ministry. The role of other SPT members will be to pray or share their resources. The key is that each member is an equal partners and is fully committed to accomplishing the goals of their Great Commission Partnership. Part Three is for SPEAR I.M. to Facilitate Great Commission Partnerships by: 1) Sponsoring at least two ministry trips a year so that members of each SPT will have the opportunity to get to know their international ministry partners and get personally involved in the work with them. Lots of pre-trip orientation and necessary training will be provided.
